Brazilian Zouk Topics: Intermediate Hair Movements

Some of the most distinctive and beautiful movement in zouk involves moving the chest and shoulders to create elegant and expressive movement, hair whips, circles, and other exciting movements. In this 6 week series, we will develop essential head movement technique, executed with proper body engagement, and layered on top of various essential zouk footwork patterns. An emphasis will be placed on safe execution.

This course is suitable for all zouk dancers who have a solid understanding of fundamentals from Zouk 101 and Zouk 102.

+Wear clothing comfortable to move in, bring water, wear socks or shoes with a slippery sole. No “outside” shoes allowed on the dance floor please.
