Learn the basics of connection, the landscape of isolation, and the intention of breath. Doesn’t sound very glamorous? It’s not. My dance isn’t about the way it looks, it’s about the way it FEELS. Abandon your need for combinations and flashy moves. Liberate yourselves.

Time & Place

+4 Week Commitment

+ Nov 13 -Dec 3, 2018 (11/13 11/20 11/27 12/3)

+Once a week, Mondays 8:30-10:00 pm

+All classes taught by Mahina Hong or Honolulu Zouk guest instructors

+Polearity Studio, 111 N King St 2B, Honolulu Hawaii

+Parking located behind the building, entrance at 120 N Nimitz Hwy

Communication

+All updates will be posted on the team’s private Facebook Group

+Please Read Updates and respond when necessary

+Provide Kimberly with your email if you would like to sync the HZ google calendar to your own

Expectations

+No partner and no experience necessary

+No street shoes on the studio floor. Please bring socks, bring a separate pair of shoes only worn indoors, or go barefoot. Dance shoes such as ballet slippers, jazz shoes, or latin dance heels are also acceptable.

+Students will cheerfully follow our Honolulu Zouk Community Guidelines

+At the end of the course, an optional individual evaluation by the instructors will be provided to determine what you need to work on, if anything, to move on to the next level

Attendance

+Please notify Mahina when you’ll be missing a class. A missed class gives you a $15 credit toward private lessons to make up what you missed. (Regular Price Privates: $75)
